In days gone by, the smoky-sweet aroma of Kuih Kapit rising from charcoal braziers was the surest sign that Chinese New Year had arrived. At Seong Ying Chai, we keep this tradition alive. Our Kuih Kapit is crafted strictly according to the old ways—poured into iron moulds and folded by hand while piping hot, exactly as the previous generation taught us. Thin, crisp, and fragrant with coconut milk.
