Refund policy

Non-returnable Items
All Seong Ying Chai products are non-refundable; no cash refunds will be allowed once the order has been confirmed by the customer. In the event of any cancellation, Seong Ying Chai will provide store credits to the customer. Store credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of delivery.

Seong Ying Chai can hold your order for up to one (1) year from your original delivery/collection date, with valid reasons brought to our attention. Kindly email us at seongyingchai1952@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist in any way we can. To redeem within the one (1) year validity, please provide us with the order number or order details, name of the purchaser and contact number.

For non-receipt of items, there will be a charge for re-delivery. All refunds made will not include delivery charges and taxes. Refunds will be made via bank transfer to the purchaser’s bank account. Please allow 3-5 working days for the refund to be processed, however during busy periods it may take longer to process.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
